There are two types of cabinet building that are the mainstay of wood cabinets, face frame and faceless cabinetry. Face frame cabinetry is the name given to cabinets that have a solid face frame installed in front of the cabinets is a very Americanized style of cabinet making and provides more space between door and drawers. Faceless cabinetry is the European version and not as sturdily built as the face frame cabinets.
Garage storage cabinets are mainly of durable steel construction, to better withstand their rugged and long-term usage. It is not uncommon to see wood or resin cabinets in garages, though. In addition, sports lockers, wall cabinets, and mobile garage storage cabinets are now available. Garage storage cabinets can be easily mounted on a wall or can be kept in any corner of the garage. Most of garage storage cabinets are off-floor mountable, to help prevent pest infiltration.
Metal storage cabinets are in heavy demands these days, so you should confirm whether they are able to deliver your cabinets in the quickest time possible or not. Otherwise, you may waste your time and energy to follow them. For our convenience, cabinet manufacturers offer metal cabinets unassembled and fully welded. As compared to assembled cabinets, fully welded cabinets are preferred for a few reasons, like no need to assemble them and they are comparatively more long lasting.
Cabinets come in a standard size which is typically 36”wide by 72” in height and 18” in depth. Various sizes that are larger and smaller can also be found depending on your needs. Depths will rarely go beyond 24” while widths usually top out at 48”…however there are a few cabinet manufacturers that go up to 60” in width. If looking for a smaller cabinet, you can find a variety at 42” or counter height size… but going smaller than that will be difficult.
